Victoria Denoon is a Co-Director of the Centre for Irish Partnerships at UMass Lowell and Director of Academic Communications and Events. The Center for Irish Partnership fosters collaborations and partnerships with educational institutions in Ireland and Northern Ireland across an interdisciplinary spectrum and embraces faculty exchange and joint research ventures.

Denoon graduated with a degree in Law from Queen’s University Belfast before moving to the United States, where she began her work in UMass Lowell. She has fostered her connection with Ireland through her role as President of Queen’s Alumni New England Chapter, including presenting former Irish President Dr. Mary McAleese with an honorary degree from UMass Lowell.

Denoon recently acted as Conference Moderator for the Irish Diaspora Conference in the Letterkenny Institute of Technology, Co. Donegal. This two-day event drew more than 150 academics, authors and policymakers, and was delivered as part of the 1916 centenary celebrations.
